The Gildan SF500. An 80/20 cotton-poly blend at 8.4 oz — medium-heavy, so it has real substance to it without the bulk that turns a hoodie into outerwear you can't sit down in.

The important part is the surface. The face of the fabric is 100% cotton even though the body is a blend, and that's the reason the print lands sharp and saturated instead of going soft and muddy the way art does on a standard poly-heavy hoodie. The neons need a cotton face to sit on. This has one.

The hood is two-piece and jersey-lined in a matching colour — warmer, and it holds its shape instead of flattening into a limp flap between your shoulder blades. Dropped shoulders give it a relaxed modern fit rather than the stiff vertical cut of an older hoodie. Pouch pocket, as it should be. Tear-away label, so nothing scratches the back of your neck.

It's OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, made in a WRAP-certified facility by a mill partnered with the Fair Labor Association. Which means someone was paid properly and treated properly to make it.
