The art is printed with permanent reactive inks across the entire exterior. Reactive means the dye forms an actual chemical bond with the fibre rather than sitting on top of it — so the colour is in the cloth, not on it. It doesn't crack, doesn't peel, and the fabric stays soft instead of going stiff and plasticky where the print is.

Inside, a navy liner with a zip pocket and a double pocket, so the small things stop migrating to the bottom. The strap is 1.5" cotton webbing — wide enough that a heavy load spreads across your shoulder instead of digging a line into it.

Two fabrics, your call. Cotton canvas is heavyweight 100% cotton with a tight weave — it holds its shape but still has some drape and softness to it, and it breaks in over time the way good canvas does. Poly canvas is one of the most structured fabrics available, matte-finish and 100% polyester — it stands up on its own, wipes clean, and shrugs off weather. Cotton for feel, poly for structure.
