Everyone owns a black umbrella. Everyone loses it in the same restaurant. Nobody notices, because it was never worth noticing.

These are the other kind — full neon tropical art overhead, so the view from underneath is as good as the view from outside.

The canopy is 100% polyester pongee, tightly woven and fully waterproof. Water beads and runs rather than seeping through, and it dries fast enough to fold away without turning your bag into a swamp. The art is heat-sublimated, meaning the ink bonds into the fibres instead of sitting on top — so it doesn't crack, peel, or fade into a washed-out ghost of itself after one wet season.

Eight fibre ribs, not the usual six. That's the difference between an umbrella that handles a gust and an umbrella that turns inside out and becomes a metal flower in front of everyone.

Semi-automatic, so it's open in about a second and one hand stays free. Sturdy rubber handle that doesn't get slippery when it's wet — which is, after all, the entire time you're using it.

Comes with a matching sleeve printed from the centre of the design, plus a wrist strap and a velcro tie wrap.
