Welcome to Casa Santosha, and your private pool casita on Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro. Serene and secluded, it's only a short walk to Bluff Beach and a quick bike ride to Bocas Town. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with king beds, and a cozy living area with TV, daybed, and work space with Starlink Wi-Fi (approx. 200mbps). The bathroom features a private shower and bidet. Relax on your private patio, or take a dip in the pool. Generally not suitable for children under 14. No pets.

The Space

Your private pool casita has a fully equipped kitchen with an induction stove, microwave and full size fridge with freezer. Also included is a water cooler, with instant cold and hot drinking water. There is also in-suite laundry, with an all-in-one LG washer/dryer. There are two full bedrooms with generous king size beds, blackout blinds, multiple outlets for device charging, and wardrobes with a safe in each room. The living space has a dining table, daybed, television and speaker. The bathroom comes complete with a full shower including hot water, hairdryer and bidet. Each room has ceiling fans for comfort, and there is a large air conditioning unit for the suite. There is an exclusive pool with plenty of lounging options and an outdoor shower.

The casita is equipped with a rain catchment system, including 2 large water tanks and filtration system for water usage. In case of a power outage (and they can happen here!), we do have a whole home generator.

Our property is wild, and sometimes there will be parrots, toucans, monkeys, and sloths visible in the trees. You may also see iguanas and agoutis roaming the yard. They are fun to watch, but please do not feed them. Nestled in the tropical jungle, our casita coexists with nature. Despite meticulous care, occasional small wildlife (including lizards) may wander indoors.

Guest Access

Guests will have full and exclusive access to the casita and backyard, the pool, and four complimentary beach cruisers. There is private parking as well for vehicles, ATVs, golf carts, and e-bike rentals.

Other Things to Note

Please note we live onsite in the main unit.

We provide beach cruiser style bicycles for getting around, and there are ATV, golf cart, electric bike and car rental agencies close by. We offer a complimentary weekly refresh/clean for guests staying 7+ days.

You are a 6 minute taxi, or 15 minute bike ride from Bocas Town and close to Bluff Beach, Paunch, and Pipa Beach. Nearby restaurants include Dosha Cafe, Ohana, Pipa Beach, Ciao Pizza, Skully's and Arboloco.

Our property is large with many tropical plants and flowers tended to by a gardener weekly.

Important Safety Notice:

This home was intentionally designed for adult occupancy and includes multiple inherent safety hazards for children, including but not limited to open staircases, elevated platforms, hard edges, and an unfenced pool.

The layout is not considered child-safe and cannot be modified, as there are no childproof features, guards, or safety barriers on the property.

As a result, this home is generally not suitable for children under 14 years. Families with children should understand that constant supervision would be required at all times, and the property may present unavoidable safety risks.

Guests are responsible for determining whether the home is appropriate for their group by carefully reviewing all photos and descriptions prior to booking.
