Camels have three sets of eyelids and two rows of eyelashes to protect their eyes from sandstorms. 🐪💨 But the truly bizarre part? They can completely close their nostrils to keep out sand while still breathing through tiny slits.

Even weirder: camels’ bodies can tolerate extreme dehydration—they can lose up to 25% of their body weight in water (most mammals would die at 12–15%) and still function normally.
