Meet Jennifer
I'm the one-eyed-animal enthusiast and recovering corporate software person behind Casa Santosha Art.
For 25 years I worked in automotive and software, building someone else's vision on someone else's timeline. In 2022 I closed the laptop, packed up, and moved to a tiny island in Bocas del Toro, Panama, to find out what I actually wanted to make when nobody was asking me to.
Turns out: neon. A lot of neon. And animals with one eye.
I paint the chaos and color of island life because that's what it actually feels like to live here. Loud, weird, alive. Every Cyclops creature, every glowing piece of fruit, every Bocas sunset on these walls started as paint on a canvas in my studio, steps from the water that inspired it.
My husband Don and I also run a small pool casita here (yes, you can come stay where the art was born), and experience one of the most magical Caribbean archepelagos we have ever been to!
If you want art that takes itself too seriously, this isn't your shop. If you want a piece that makes you grin every time you walk past it, welcome home.
Jennifer :)
Here is me at my first ever island pop up!
