Collection: Cat and Dog in Bocas Collection

Bocas has a high population of stray dogs and cats, and many have adapted to island life in surprising ways. 🐕🐈 Some dogs form loose packs to hunt or scavenge, while cats often become semi-feral, hunting iguanas, rats, and small birds to survive.

Even stranger: some stray animals in Bocas have developed a symbiotic relationship with humans, hanging around markets or restaurants to get scraps, but staying wild enough to fend for themselves—basically walking the line between “pet” and “wild.”
