I grew up in Calgary. Eighteen years of scraping windshields at seven in the morning, and chinooks that would swing forty degrees before lunch just to keep everyone's' pant legs muddy. Then I moved to a Caribbean island and started painting lobsters in colours that do not occur in nature. The neon is from Bocas del Toro. The grudge against customs fees is fiercely Canadian, all the way down.

So this collection stays home. These pieces have printed in Canada option, with a real Canadian shop. Your art does not cross a border, does not sit in a customs queue, and does not turn up with a bill stapled to it.
